# How do I prevent my membership from automatically renewing?

## You can stop automatic renewal anytime. Just log into your account, open your membership settings, and click the cancel option. Your membership will stay active until the end of your paid term.

All CharityHowTo memberships renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle, but **you’re always in full control** of your subscription.

To prevent renewal, simply log into your account and update your membership settings:

1. Go to your CharityHowTo library: [https://www.charityhowto.com/library](https://www.charityhowto.com/library)
2. Click **Membership Settings**
3. Select **Cancel Membership**

Once you initiate cancellation, your membership **will not renew**, and you will continue to enjoy all benefits through the end of your current paid period.

You’ll also receive friendly reminder emails ahead of your renewal date so there are no surprises.
